What counts as an athlete?
A seat is taken by every athlete you are actively working with: anyone with an active training journey, plus any invitation you have sent that is still open or has expired but not been deleted. If you train yourself through REP, your own journey takes a seat too. Athletes you have paused or deactivated do not count, so a seat frees up the moment you deactivate someone who has finished working with you.
What happens when I hit my athlete limit?
REP stops you at the limit. When you try to invite or activate an athlete beyond your allowance, you choose what to do: on Coach and Pro you can add extra seats for €2 (Coach) or €1.50 (Pro) per athlete per month, or upgrade; on Starter, 5 is a hard cap, so you upgrade to Coach or deactivate someone first.
Extra seats are charged straight away, prorated for the days remaining in the current cycle. If adding seats would cost more than the next package, we say so — but the choice is yours.
What is the purpose of the REP mobile companion app?
It’s the athlete’s side of REP, free on iOS and Android. Coaches build training programs in the web planner; athletes open the companion app to follow them. They see today’s workout, check in on energy and sleep before they start, log every set and weight as they train, and message their coach without leaving the app.
Everything an athlete logs syncs straight back to the coach, so the next week’s plan is built on real numbers rather than guesswork.
Do my athletes have to pay anything?
No. The REP workout app is free for athletes, on iOS and Android. They get their programme, log every set, fill in their check-ins and message you without paying anything. Only coaches pay for REP.
Is there really a free trial?
Yes — 30 days, with the full Pro feature set unlocked. That is long enough to build a real training block and run it with real athletes before you decide whether REP is worth paying for.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Moving up takes effect immediately, and we only charge the difference for the days remaining in your billing cycle, so you never pay twice for the same days. Moving down takes effect at the end of the cycle you have already paid for. Either way your athletes need to fit the new package before the change goes through.
What’s the difference between monthly and yearly?
The features are identical. Monthly bills every month and can be stopped whenever you like. Yearly is a 12-month commitment at a lower monthly rate — still billed month by month, never as one big payment — and saves you up to 13%. After the twelve months you keep the yearly rate with no further commitment, so you can cancel any month from then on.
Do I need to be a full-time coach to use this?
No. Starter exists for exactly that: five athletes for €17 a month. Plenty of coaches run a handful of clients alongside another job and move up to Coach or Pro once the roster grows.
Can I move my athletes over from spreadsheets?
Not automatically yet. For now you build the block once in the planner and reuse it from then on — most coaches find that faster than a straight copy anyway. Importing from CSV, PDF, Google Sheets and Excel is on the roadmap.
What is the AI assistant?
A helper built into the coaching side of REP. It reads what your athletes actually logged and drafts the next step for you — the AI proposes, you approve. Nothing reaches an athlete until you have signed it off.
Does REP support MCP?
Yes. REP has a native MCP server (Model Context Protocol), so you can connect ChatGPT, Claude or any other MCP-compatible AI assistant directly to your REP coaching account. To set it up, open AI connections in REP, copy the server URL into your assistant’s connector settings and sign in with your REP login. The assistant then works inside your account with your permissions: it can read what your athletes logged, show who needs attention, build or edit training programs, write coach notes and send invites. It only acts when you ask it to in the conversation, and you can disconnect at any time.
Do you offer anything for gyms with multiple coaches?
Not as a packaged plan yet — today every coach runs their own REP account with their own roster. If you are a gym or a team with several coaches, get in touch and we will work out what fits.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from your billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and there is no fee to cancel a monthly plan. If you cancel a yearly plan before its twelve months are up, we charge the smaller of two months at your current rate or whatever is left of the commitment — so a coach who leaves in the final month only pays for what remains.
What if REP isn’t right for me?
Then don’t pay for it. The 30-day trial is there so you can find that out before spending anything, and you can cancel at any point after that. If something is missing, tell us — a lot of what is in REP today came from coaches asking for it.
